[Replay] Celsius Talk: Cities going carbon neutral

As we all know cities play a major role in the transition to the carbon neutral society. Celsius, since 2013, supported cities in their transitions towards more sustainable energy systems for heating and cooling. Along the way we have found so many inspiring examples (that couldn’t all fit into a one-hour seminar).

In this webinar you will hear about the Celsius Forerunner city of Lund in Sweden where the world’s largest LTDH grid was recently awarded with the Global District Energy Climate Award in the category New Scheme.

Danish Sonderborg, a city that aims to be carbon neutral by 2029, shares its best practice and their experience on how district energy can help decarbonize the energy system.

Celsius Forerunner city Vienna shares insights made on the journey towards carbon neutrality in the heating/cooling system.

Speakers
Markus Paulsson – Energy Strategist, City of Lund (SE)
Allan Pilgaard-Jensen – Business Development Manager, ProjectZero Business (DK)
Peter Lichtenwöhre – Energy Planning Consultant, City of Vienna (AT)
Moderator: Aksana Krasatsenka, Head of Knowledge Transfer, Euroheat & Power
