Buildings represent about 40% of total energy needs in Europe. Improving their energy efficiency and energy use behaviours are thus a first and foremost priority towards reaching the EU’s energy and climate targets. This is a key aim of both Partners: Construction 21 as a collaborative platform dedicated to all professionals active in the sustainable building sector, and FEDARENE as a network of regional and local level public authorities and energy agencies for whom the energy efficiency of buildings in their territory is a priority.

Considering this common priority goal of improving the energy efficiency and energy use behaviour of buildings, the Partners have agreed to join efforts in promoting this goal notably by promoting each other’s work towards this goal. www.fedarene.org
