Quantifying the benefits of energy renovation in non-residential –infographic
In a recent study, the Buildings Performance Institute Europe (BPIE) has sought to answer the following question:
What are the quantified benefits of people-centric renovation of offices, schools and hospitals?
The research, which takes the first step in defining, measuring, quantifying and monetising the impact of indoor air quality, thermal comfort, acoustics and lighting on students, office workers and patients across Europe, has developed a set of publications based on more than 400 academic articles, dozens of case studies and expert interviews focusing on health, wellbeing and productivity in buildings.
