Innovative solutions of the public sector for the financing of buildings' energy renovation

Final conference of the European project MLEI POSITIF organised by ARENE Île-de-France in partnership with Énergies POSIT’IF and FEDARENE.

The event is organised in the framework of the EUSEW (European Union Sustainable Energy Week) in Brussels on 20 June 2017 afternoon.

The aim of the conference is to present innovative financial instruments that could be used for buildings energy renovation and to show the role of local/regional public agencies/governments in the implementation of EE project.

The conference will include :

• The innovative financial and technical tool developed by Énergies POSIT’IF for condominium energy renovation :  current situation and prospects,
• RenoWatt, energy renovation of public buildings ‘ pilot project implemented in Belgium (presented by GRE-Liège)
• Financial tools of the European Bank of Investment (EIB) and ELENA programme,
• Financial support programme of building renovation in the County of Kirklees (presented by the European Committee of Regions),
• The finance model used to achieve the bond in lighting retrofit and option to refinance post project  (presented by Carlow Kilkenny Energy Agency)
• and many other best practices from FEDARENE members.
