GBC Italia presents new rating system for sustainable neighborhood

Last June, GBC Italia - partner of USGBC - has presented the short version of the new rating system for sustainable neighborhood: "GBC ITALIA - QUARTIERI".

Implemented on the base of existing "LEED for Neighborhood Development" Rating System, "GBC ITALIA - QUARTIERI" merges New Urbanism planning principles with italian cities' urban structure features and rules, defining a set of credits useful to promote and incentivate  urban regeneration projects and high quality planning of new settlement.

Experimental phase is now open to test urban and district level projects.
