Many tools are used for design and optimization of a building. Today tools for Building Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) assessment are highlighting the contribution of construction systems to Eco design. These tools are young but mature enough to be tested as decision making tools: purchase of materials, buildings design, even at an upper scale the development of a neighborhood.
How to integrate these tools in an operational way in the projects? What new missions for assistants to project owners, designers and contractors? How to draft environmental criteria in specification with the help of LCA?
The French Institute for Energy Performance of Buildings (IFPEB) and its members invite you to share their work on:
