Mark Woodward

Mark Woodward is a Co-Founder of The Smart City Alliance, an international alliance of cities determined to be global frontrunners in providing citizens with long term, sustainable, reliable and competitive services. Mark is leading the development of Smart City projects in both the UK, Europe and China, in particular, next generation heat networks, heat storage in former mine workings and industrial heat recovery. Mark also leads on the development of Academies, enabling citizens to develop the skills needed to access employment opportunities from Smart City infrastructure projects. The Smart City Alliance is not about visions and discussions, it is about actions, swift delivery and practical results.
