helium3 is an international, multi-disciplinary team proposing resolutely optimistic architectural concepts.

DESIGN
Our vision of a project is one of an adventure, a collaboration between specialists, among which the owner is the leading player. The project is his project; our goal is to translate his vision into a final reality that is even better than he imagined.

On the basis of preliminary discussions with the owner, we create a kind of IDEAS FACTORY. This make use of brainstorming sessions, models, study visits, and of course further meetings with the owner to encourage mutual stimulation.

Every project is unique, but it always involves research on the five senses. We work on spaces, natural light, colors, materials…

EXECUTION
In the second phase, the actual construction part, creativity gives way to the rigor and technical skills needed to implement the project as specified. The works to be built are defined in plans and detailed documents. A precise cost analysis validates the financial feasibility for the owner before sending invitations to tender to contractors.

The execution of a well-prepared tender file and attentive inspection of the work guarantee a result that conforms to the owner's requirement and budget.

helium3 was founded in 2008 by three engineer-architects from Liège (Belgium).
The team accepts a wide variety of private and public projects, with budgets large or small, imposing only one condition: that the project is about Architecture, not building shoe-boxes.

helium3 est une équipe multi-talents internationale, proposant une architecture résolument optimiste.

CONCEPTION
Notre vision d'un projet est celle d'une aventure, d'une collaboration de spécialistes dont le maître d'ouvrage est l'acteur principal. Le projet est son projet et notre plus grande motivation est de traduire ses souhaits en une réalité construite, au delà de ses espérances.

Sur base des premières discussions avec le maître d'ouvrage, nous mettons en marche la FABRIQUE A IDEES. Pour cela, brainstorming, maquettes, voyages d'études et, bien entendu, réunions avec le maitre d'ouvrage où l'on encourage la stimulation mutuelle.

Chaque projet est unique mais intègre systématiquement la recherche des 5 sens. Un travail sur les espaces, sur la lumière naturelle et la couleur, sur les matériaux, etc.

EXECUTION
Dans la seconde partie du projet, l'exécution, la créativité laisse la place à la rigueur et aux compétences techniques pour caractériser complètement le projet. On définit en plans, descriptions et détails tous les ouvrages à construire. Une estimation précise du coût valide la faisabilité avec le maître d'ouvrage avant la soumission des entrepreneurs.

La réalisation d'un dossier de soumission soigné, associé à un contrôle des travaux attentif garantit un résultat conforme au projet et aux budgets définis par le maître d'ouvrage.

helium3 a été fondée en 2008 par 3 ingénieurs-architectes de Liège.
L'équipe conçoit des projets privés et publics, de tous programmes, de tous budgets, pour autant qu'on parle d'Architecture et non de boîte à chaussures.
