Construction21 network is currently managed by an international non-profit association, Construction21 AISBL, which was established in April 2013 in Brussels at the end of the European project that funded the portal in its initial phase (2011-2013). The association is composed of national chapters, which manage the Construction21 portals in each country and collectively at international level. The association gradually welcomes new partners opening Construction21 platforms in new countries. Greenwal has opened a new Belgian platform in 2013 and CDEC/Neobuild will open in 2014, as well as other ones still in project.

The Association Construction21 France, is open to all professionals. The organization manages and animates the French platform since April 2013 with the support of the ADEME and the Plan Bâtiment Durable.
The organization was created at the end of the European project by 30 founding members, all deeply committed to sustainable construction challenges. The association is meant to widely gather all organizations wishing to contribute to the development of the platform.

The UNESCO Chair is working on Life Cycle Management, while building capacity through education and research and providing an international approach. It provides compatible solutions that are meeting the demands of the market, social expectations and respect towards the environment.|
|ANCE is involved with Administrative Authorities in governing the territory, planning investments and designing interventions; it interacts with the Italian government regarding Energy Efficiencies and Renewable Energies legislation and it dialogues with political, social and cultural Institutions at National and European level.||
Greenwal is a non-profit organisation that aims at contributing to create and preserve a healthy environment, socially and economically acceptable for current and future generations; boost the construction sector (new constructions and renovation) and establish bridges between training, research and innovation.
|The Romania Green Building Council is a non-profit, non-political association encouraging the market, educational and legislative conditions necessary to promote high performance construction that is both sustainable and profitable. The organisation has over 130 member companies from all major stakeholder groups usually involved in building sector such as Investors, Developers, Architects, Engineers and Technical Consultants, Producers of Construction Materials, Construction Companies and Facility Managers. The RoGBC is the main organisation representing the voice of the green building community in Romania.||The International Resource Centre for Innovation and Sustainable Development (CIRIDD).The favorite scope of the CIRIDD is the promotion and the management of change for a sustainable economic development. Our organization is also involved in sustainable development and environment knowledge management activities designed towards public and private organizations.|
|VGTU is a wide range multi-professional academic and research institution with advanced activities developed in eight faculties ranging from architecture to construction and fundamental sciences. The Faculty of Architecture is a national broad professional education entity providing training in a full range of architectural activities from regional planning, urban design and landscape to volumetric architecture, interior design and renovation.intérieur et la rénovation.||
CDEC was founded in 2008 to ensure the sustainable competitivity of construction sector in Luxemburg. In order to achieve that goal, CDEC acquired considerable means and created 3 companies dedicated to help the sector: IFSB, a training center ; Cocert, an agency in charge of energy efficiency in buildings; and Neobuild, the technological green building innovation pole.
Operational management of the Construction21 Luxemburg platform is delegated to Neobuild, an anonymous society with CDEC as the single shareholder.

Construction21 was created by a consortium of nine partners (IFPEB, ESCI, UCV, ANCE, DGNB, PE, RoGBC, VGTU and CIRIDD) wishing to accelerate the environmental transition of the building market. The project, winner of the "Intelligent Energy for Europe" call for proposals, received significant support from the European Union during the first two years (May 2011-May 2013).
Construction21 is also closely linked to BUILD UP, the European Commission portal on energy efficiency in buildings, which publishes all the case studies and news from the international Construction21 platform.
