Créée en 1962, engagée pour un habitat et des bâtiments durables, l'association Promotelec agit pour accompagner les usagers et les professionnels à répondre aux 3 enjeux de société : un habitat sûr, un habitat adapté et un habitat économe et respectueux de l'environnement.
D’intérêt général, elle est constituée de 23 membres : ANAH,CAPEB, CGL, CINOV, CONSUEL, CSTB, EDF, FAMILLES DE FRANCE, FEDELEC, FFB, FFIE, FGME, FIEEC,FPI, GDF-SUEZ, GIFAM, IGNES, SERCE, SYCABEL, UMF, UNA3E-CAPEB, UNSFA, USH.
