Context Asia faces new challenges as global manufacturing is moving towards value-added, low energy, no pollution and zero waste.

To address this, Taiwan’s government is actively implementing its 5+2 industrial innovation plan to promote a circular economy.

The key to successfully drive this circular economy effort is for companies to align and jointly adopt sustainable supply practices.

This is a multi-year effort involving development of new technologies, talent and processes.

Establishing a model circular economy zone will help expedite this process of adopting sustainable supply practices in Taiwan and with its global trading partners.
