[Video] SB&WRC Project: Prototype 2 - Polyester insulation panel based on recycled duvet covers

The SB&WRC project is part of the Programme Interreg VA France (Channel) England and benefits from financial support from the ERDF.

This project, designed and led by Nomadéis, a sustainable development consultancy agency, aims to design and produce 3 prototypes of thermal insulation for buildings based on biobased and waste based raw materials.

The second prototype, based on polyester from used bedding, allows the recovery of this raw material when it is currently not recovered. The resource is abundantly available: about 35,000 tonnes are discarded each year in England and France.
