Knowledge of the basic life cycle concepts, their background and formal definitions. Basic understanding of the different phases of an LCA study, with a focus on buildings, and of the current developments in terms of eco-labelling in this sector. Knowing the available tools to support LCA in general and applied to buildings in particular.
