It makes it possible to evaluate sustainable development criteria: water and energy consumption, waste generation, air quality, social cohesion ... thanks to the participation and involvement of all its stakeholders, particularly the inhabitants.

NUM-CITY is an evolutive web tool: many functionalities can be integrated (mobility, environment ...) and it is adaptable to any other territory. The development of NUM-CITY on the Docks was funded by the European Climate-KIC institution.

    • Platform of exchange of information unique among all actors: Séquano Aménagement, EPT Paine commune, City of Saint-Ouen sur Seine, inhabitants, promoters ...
    • Appropriation of the tool
    • Pillar Label EcoQuartier "Living environment and uses - Improving the everyday life"

For each of these subjects, consultation, then the tool when it is in operation, clearly shows the financial consequences (energy bills, water ...) of the behavior of each one. The environmental consequences (air quality) and longer-term climate impacts are also discussed and explained.

The tool promotes the awareness that the daily decisions of each have an impact on these subjects and it creates the conditions for a lasting change of behavior.

    • Presentation of the main atmospheric emissions, in real time, at human height (0 to 2m) and on each floor (every 2.70m)
    • Improvement of the image of the CPCU and the Syctom, as well as of the territory, vis-à-vis all the actors of the city of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine and beyond this territory
    • Pillar Label EcoQuartier "Resource conservation and adaptation to climate change - Responding to the climatic and environmental emergency"

    • Measurement and monitoring of consumption: hot water, cold water, heating, electricity
    • Measurement and monitoring of the quantity of waste produced and the quality of the sorting
    • Changing behavior
    • Pillar Label EcoQuartier "Resource conservation and adaptation to climate change - Responding to the climatic and environmental emergency"

The budget needed to adapt and implement our tool in a neighborhood is:

    • Of approximately 85 k €, the amount depends in particular on the data available at the outset and the complexity of the tool to be designed
    • 15% per year for maintenance and accommodation
    • Around 30 to 70 k € per function depending on the complexity + maintenance and accommodation costs.
