9th International DHC+ Summer School

The 9th edition of the International DHC+ Summer School is planned to take place in Karlshamn, Sweden at the end of August.  However, due to the COVID-19 situation and the uncertainty surrounding international travel, we will take the final decision on the format of the Summer School by 1st of June.

Engaging District Heating and Cooling End-Users through Artificial Intelligence

The 9th edition will focus on this topic and will include lectures, interactive discussions and hands-on workshops.

We have updated the programme, which now includes District Cooling, development of a DHC strategy and network design, sector integration, customer communication and two study visits that for obvious reasons were not possible in 2020. Hands-on workshops will focus on Artificial Intelligence (taking into account the feedback we received last year) and specific DH solutions that use AI to control and monitor centrally heated buildings.

Registration

The online registration is open until 31 July 2021 (or until fully booked). The 30 places available will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis (with maximum 4 participants per organisation).

Early bird fees are applicable if you register before 1 June! Don’t miss this opportunity and REGISTER HERE!

What happens if the situation doesn’t allow us to go to Sweden?

While being optimistic, we remain realistic and monitor the situation on a regular basis. By 1st of June the organisers will assess the rules in place and will specify the format of the Summer School: on-site or online. All registered participants will be contacted, their registration will be adapted and, if necessary, they will be refunded the difference between the online participation and the fee they paid for the on-site participation.
