GET READY FOR 2050: the upcoming event series you don’t want to miss

Organised between 20 May and 1st June, the online series aims to support municipalities and regions in developing, implementing and financing Climate and Energy Plans.

The Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy – Europe, H2020 projects C-Track 50 and PentaHelix are all working towards the same goal: supporting cities and regions in developing and implementing sustainable energy and climate plans. It was therefore natural that these 3 EU initiatives decided to join forces to organise a unique joint event series for local/regional public authorities and their stakeholders, also inviting other like-minded EU projects and initiatives to contribute (European Energy Award, PROSPECT 2030, JOINT SECAP, STEPPING Plus, E-Fix).

GET READY FOR 2050 aim to support participants develop, implement and finance energy and climate plan by focusing on three fundamental axes:

  • How to build effective collaboration processes
  • How to successfully plan for the future
  • How to finance climate and energy plans

Each online session will include inspiring presentations from various actors (high-level EU representatives, local and regional authorities, academia, project coordinators from consultancies, etc.) followed by practical discussions in small groups (breakout sessions). The breakout rooms offer a unique opportunity for participants to ask their questions to the selected experts and speakers. It will also be the occasion to work on opportunities and challenges related to the three topics at hand.

Are you a stakeholder working on sustainable energy and climate plans? Would you like to hear tips and tricks from renowned experts on how to be successful? Check the programme and register to the GET READY FOR 2050 online sessions now:
