The expansion and rehabilitation of the Hostal Spa Empúries has been undertaken with the idea of ensuring a new building essential for our future. This is why we feel obliged to opt for materials that can be transformed into primary resources, so as to produce new materials with the same use value.

For these reasons we most favourably support the inclusion of our Hostal in the Green Building Solutions Awards 2015.

En la rehabilitación y la ampliación del Hostal Spa Empúries destacamos, entre algunos, los siguientes aspectos.

Productos "Cradle to Cradle": En la construcción del Hostal se han utilizado materiales certificados c2c. Es el caso del cemento microcelular YTONG para el envolvente vertical, revestimientos para paredes y suelos de PROYECTA de Rosa Gres y claraboya para la mejor iluminación de espacios interiores de DEPLOSUN de Espacio Solar.

Cubierta verde en edificios sobre estructura de madera, hormigón aligerado y aislante de corcho; vidrios con cámara de aire con gas argón.

Certificación LEED Gold (Habitaciones Spa - Parte Nueva) y Certificación LEED Plata (Habitaciones reformadas parte antigua)
