[Webinar] Lightweight solutions for high insulating building envelopes – The EENSULATE project
Buildings account for around 40% of energy consumption and 36% of CO2 emissions in the European Union. Curtains walls, associated with modern architecture and large office building stock, are often criticized for their limited insulation properties. Existing buildings, including historical ones, are responsible for up to 60% energy losses through the envelope.
EENSULATE project aims to tackle this problem by developing innovative, lightweight and highly insulating energy-efficient components and associated materials for cost-effective retrofitting and new construction of curtain wall facades.
The “Lightweight solutions for high insulating building envelopes – The EENSULATE project” webinar aims to raise awareness on the most innovative building renovation and energy saving solutions and to present the technologies developed by EENSULATE project co-funded by the European Commission in the framework of Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
