[Webinair] Mine Water Heating and Cooling: A 21st Century Resource for Decarbonisation

Join BGS, IEA Geothermal and the Department for BEIS for a symposium on mine water geothermal energy. 

BGS is co-organising a symposium on mine water geothermal energy, in association with IEA Geothermal and the Department for BEIS.  Registration is free and there are 400 spaces available.

Day 1 – Wednesday 10 March

The first day will cover mine water heat and decarbonisation, and experiences of UK mine water heating/cooling schemes followed by a discussion panel and questions. Speakers include David Banks (Holymoor Consultancy Ltd. & University of Glasgow) and Gareth Farr (BGS).

Day 2 – Thursday 11 March

The second day will cover mine water heating/cooling for local district heating, the future for mine water heating and cooling and a discussion panel and questions.
