[Video] Flatmettoekomst - Utrecht - Achieving energy neutrality through renovation

This building, located in Utrecht, Netherlands, has been deeply renovated to achieve the net zero energy level. The success of this project can be explained by the integration of solutions like a heat pump or photovoltaic panels, but also by the commitment of all stakeholders through all the process. Air quality has also been taken into account: a double ventilation system has been installed.

This effective and inspiring renovation process was then replicated on some 40 flats.

Interview with Lars  Zwart, ONB Architects; Art Verkaik, VIOS Bouwgroep B.V; and John Bouwman, Nieman Raadgevende Ingenieurs B.V at Batimat (international fair).
