Sustainability in construction in Belgium and in Germany

Construction represents one third of the waste in Belgium. The increasing demand for sustainable materials and technologies in construction and the stricter rules regarding energy efficiency for new buildings and renovation projects invites firms to turn to suppliers of neighbouring countries. The geographic proximity of the Belgian and German markets equally offers a sustainable supply chain.

Due to their high sustainability and product standards and to their good price-quality ratio, German firms offer interesting solutions.

The German-Belgian-Luxemburgish Chamber of Commerce (AHK debelux) organises a three-day event in June: a digital conference on June 22nd, 2021, followed by two days of online B2B-meetings on June 23rd and 24th, where 12 German firms, specialised in sustainable construction, will meet Belgian firms individually.

Participation to the conference and/or the B2B-meetings is free of charge. For more information and for registration, please visit our website.

This event is part of the market development program for small and medium enterprises (SME), an initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The project is organised by the German-Belgian-Luxemburgish Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Chambers of Trade and Crafts of Cologne and Aachen.
