Launch of 2019 Global Status Report for Buildings and Construction: Press Conference at COP25

We are not on track. This high-level press conference will feature this among many other insights of our 2019 Global Status Report and highlight the urgent need for increased climate action in the buildings and construction sector.

The press conference showcases what is needed to get on track and presents countries' commitments to undertaking actions for putting the buildings and construction sector on track. We are delighted that Ms. Mollie Johnson, Assistant Deputy Minister, Natural Resources Canada and Mr. Fahed Al Hammadi, Assistant Undersecretary of Climate Change,  Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and head of delegation, United Arab Emirates, in addition to UNEP’ Executive Director Inger Andersen and IEA’s Executive Director Dr. Fatih Birol are attending.
