International Passive House Conference 2017: Passive House for all!

Passive House for all! That's the motto for this year's International Passive House Conference, the year's premium Passive House event, where about 1000 thought leaders and innovators from around the world gather. It’s all about energy efficient construction now and in the future. This year’s slogan intend to touch upon the diverse applications that are possible with the Passive House concept. 
 
Lectures, workshops, excursions and evening events allow you to share your experience with other professionals and to learn more about the world’s most energy efficient building standard.  
The upcoming Passive House conference will take place in the beautiful Austrian capital Vienna which is increasingly turning to energy efficient construction.

Two days of over 100 lectures on all relevant Passive House topics, such as residential buildings, schools, kindergartens and other non-residential buildings in Passive House standard, retrofit examples, components, commissioning and monitoring, methods and tools, renewable energies and even Passive House high-rises! All presented by top-class international speakers! Simultaneous translation into English in all German sessions will be provided.
Exhibition and evening events 
 
The conference is accompanied by the Passive House Exhibition where all leading manufacturers present their latest products. On Friday, the evening event at the magnificent Vienna Museum of Natural History is the place to be, don't miss it! 
Workshops 
 
For all those wishing to start even earlier, Passive House Institute is offering a comprehensive workshop programme in the run-up to the conference (24 - 27 April 2017). In addition to PHPP and designPH basics, a range of specialist workshops will also be available. Brand new workshops relating to energy efficient hot water systems as well as commissioning and optimised operations are also on offer, as are workshops on windows, cooling and dehumidification, PHPP for retrofits and designPH
 
Excursions in and around Vienna 
 
Discover Vienna’s Passive House buildings and talk to their designers, residents and users! On Sunday 30 April 2017 you will be able to participate in excursions to various Passive House buildings in Vienna and its surroundings.
