Follow Construction21's events for COP26 in Glasgow and online!


While states are gathering and negotiating the conditions of climate action at COP26, numerous actors organise side events to inspire and influence. Among them, Construction21 will be present through 4 events to demonstrate that sustainable buildings and cities is a key sector in the fight against the climate crisis. Discover what they will consist in and follow them live! 

District Heating and Cooling: On the road to 5th Generation!


Since 2018, the European project D2GRIDS has promoted 5th generation district heating and cooling (5GDHC) across North-West Europe.  On the 10th November 2021, on the occasion of COP26, the D2Grids team is organising the Project mid term event called “On the road to 5GDHC” in order to showcase the first results in developing the concept and progress achieved on the pilot sites. The event will also be an occasion to share perspectives to roll-out 5GDHC grids across European cities.

International gala of the Green Solutions Awards 2020-21


The worldwide experts and pioneers of sustainable construction will be gathered for the key event of the competition: the announcement of the international winners! These are all exceptionnal projects selected by the juries for their high to inspire the entire industry. The gala will be followed by a cocktail reception to celebrate the winners and exchange between professionals of the sector.

Green Solutions Awards 2021: who are the winners?


As an introduction of the closing reception of the COP26 built environment day, discover the 2021 international winners of the Green Solutions Awards, contest supported by the Global ABC.

Besides States’ negotiations about climate change, some real examples managed by pioneers of the building sector are showing us the way towards a zero-emission world. The Green Solutions Awards powered by Construction21 network are identifying, selecting and promoting exemplary buildings which already fulfil the conditions of a zero-carbon world.
