EU Sustainable Energy Week 2015

The EU Sustainable Energy Week 2015 (EUSEW 2015) will take place 15 - 19  June 2015, with Energy Days being organised during the whole month of June.

The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), launched in 2006 as an initiative of the European Commission, is the leading event on energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. It brings together public authorities, energy agencies, research organisations, academic institutions, NGOs, businesses, and private companies to share best practices, successful projects and innovative technologies.

Stakeholders have the opportunity to participate in EUSEW 2015 by submitting their project to the Sustainable Energy Awards competition, by organising an Energy Day, or by attending the High Level Policy Conference:

1. Sustainable Energy Europe Awards

The Sustainable Energy Europe Awards competition is looking for outstanding and innovative projects in three categories:

  • renewable energy
  • energy efficiency
  • cities, communities and regions

2. Energy Days

Hundreds of stakeholders organise their own Energy Day every year. An Energy Day involves activities such as exhibitions, conferences, performances, guided tours, open days, workshops and concerts which are not-for-profit and aim at promoting sustainable energy. These events will take place across Europe throughout the month of June 2015.

3. High Level Policy Conference

The core of the EUSEW, the High Level Policy Conference, will take place in Brussels during the week of 15-19 June.

For more information, please visit the official webpage of the European Sustainable Energy Week.

The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is coordinated by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME), in close cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy.
