EIT Climate-KIC CEO Dr. Kirsten Dunlop gives TEDx Talk

EIT Climate-KIC CEO Dr. Kirsten Dunlop delivered a talk, “Innovation as if the future mattered,” for TEDx in Budapest this year, which is now available for streaming on YouTube.

Dr. Dunlop is committed to developing and implementing innovation to catalyse profound systemic change and is honoured to work with EIT Climate-KIC’s world-class network of partners to support climate innovation across Europe and beyond. Ph.D. in cultural history, Kirsten’s career spans academia, consulting, banking, insurance, strategy, design, innovation and leadership across three continents, pioneering thinking in the transformation of core business and industry models through innovation.

Dr. Dunlop has been Chief Executive Officer at EIT Climate-KIC since 2017. She is also one of 16 experts at the Economic and Societal Impact of Research and Innovation (ESIR) expert group, providing independent advice on how future EU research and innovation policy can best support sustainable development and the European Commission’s priorities. Her vision for EIT Climate-KIC is to offer capability in systems transformation, resilience and regeneration to achieve a zero-carbon economy and a climate resilient society.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format, but was independently organised by a local community.
