SSPCR 2019 aims to answer the question on how can we maximize the impact of academic research, the scaling-up and replicability opportunities of pilot projects, and the added value of local bottom-up initiatives, in relation to complex challenges posed by the smart city/region approach?
Therefore, building projects that wish to put their work in a larger (urban or regional scale) will find in this conference the right audience.
The call for proposals is articulated in six thematic tracks:
Track 1 - shaping the climate and energy transition: clean energy and robust systems for all
Track 2 - urban (big) data: challenges for information retrieval and knowledge discovery
Track 3 - new value propositions in times of urban innovation ecosystems and sharing economies
Track 4 - dissolving borders: towards integrated territorial approaches, from smart cities to smart regions
Track 5 - thriving governance and citizenship in a smart world: environments and approaches fostering engagement and collaborative action
Track 6 - future mobility: autonomous vehicles or empowered pedestrians and cyclists?
Deadline for proposals submission: July 31, 2019
After the conference, the Scientific Committee will review submitted papers and select those worthy of publication. The conference proceedings are published by SPRINGER and indexed in SCOPUS database. Open Access publication option will be available.
