Call for projects " Timber: the future of construction and building rehabilitation"

Green building is at the heart of the Yvelines’ Council’s economic and environmental policy, evident in the creation of the “Ecopôle” clean technologies business park, the “Fabrique 21” green building cluster and the “Mieux vivre” sustainable living program.

The green building sector has a prime location for development in the Yvelines’ Seine Valley, where the transportation and transformation of eco-friendly materials, particularly wood, are expected to increase significantly along the Paris-Rouen-Le Havre axis.

In partnership with local partners, the Yvelines Council has decided to launch a call for projects to challenge the sector’s businesses to develop innovative and economically viable solutions that use wood in building construction or rehabilitation.

With €1.5 million in funding, the competition is open to eligible parties, particularly small businesses (SMEs). All French and international companies with either individual or collaborative projects are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must submit their letters of intent by September 21st and their complete applications by October 19th.
