The SB&WRC project is part of the Programme Interreg VA France (Channel) England and benefits from financial support from the ERDF.

This project, designed and led by Nomadéis, a sustainable development consultancy agency, aims to design and produce 3 prototypes of thermal insulation for buildings based on biobased and waste based raw materials.

The third prototype is the result of the wheat straw processing, which is an agricultural co-product with abundant availability within the territory concerned by the project: more than 3 million tonnes are recoverable each year in England and France.
