We are a non-profit, non-political association of businesses and other organizations active throughout the country. We are the leading organization promoting environmental responsibility and energy efficiency in the Design, Construction, Operation, and Deconstruction of Romania's buildings.
The Romania Green Building Council endeavours to deliver the market, educational, and legislative conditions necessary to promote high performance construction that is both sustainable and profitable. We are creating an exemplary development model for the region by ensuring the built environment will not imperil future generations but rather be a source of safety, comfort, innovation, and economic opportunity.
RoGBC offered high quality, low cost training in sustainable construction that benefited more than 1150 participants. The council launched the “Romania Green Building Professional” certification program. This provides 56 hours of multi-disciplinary instruction that includes important topics such as: The Financial Valuation of Green Buildings, Green Design Principles, Sustainable Materials and Resources, Creating and Managing Green Workspaces, Managing Green Building Projects, and other topics as described within the training section of the website.
