Smart Grids 2015 in Paris

From Smart Grids to Smart Energy, from 27th to 29th May 2015. The smart grids market is booming this year, with France’s energy transition law, connected things and big data all poised to change, if not completely revolutionize, the energy landscape!

In France, the connected things market was worth some 150 million euros in 2013, a figure that looks set to rise to 500 million euros by 2016.

This year, SG PARIS will tackle all the aforementioned issues both in the conference rooms and the exhibition by carefully hand-picking the exhibitors and events that feature on our programme. In an effort to provide a more exhaustive picture, we will develop a multi-energy approach, because although smart grids were initially confined to the realm of the electricity sector, today they are increasingly affecting the other energy markets: gas, water, heat networks. We have consequently progressed from Smart Grids to Smart Energy.

Our pick-and-mix conference programme has a 3 rooms/3 topics concept and focuses on one specific topic each day in each room, making it easier for you to decide which sessions to attend and ensuring you optimize your time. We will tackle strategic topics by organizing round table sessions and presentations with institutional bodies and experts. In addition, participatory workshops will give you the opportunity to chat with other market players with complementary profiles and maybe even draw up guidelines or recommendations. You will make the transition from being a simple delegate/spectator to actually getting involved, as we give you the opportunity to share your thoughts and assume your position as a veritable market player!

Two other presentation rooms will also be available: one dedicated to smart grid projects and the other focusing onproducts and services that are developing in the market.

Last but not least, this year’s programme will feature off-site tours of technical sites, pilots or showrooms, giving you a first-hand understanding of the market and its solutions.
