Infrastructures & Urban services: The third database on Construction21
Currently pioneers in highlighting content related to sustainable construction and green city, the Construction21 platforms are poised to welcome a new database. After eco-friendly buildings and exemplary districts, this tool will highlight the exemplary and innovative infrastructures and urban services, with the aim to spread good practices in urban projects and services.
Thanks to the different Construction21 platforms worldwide [1], this new database will spotlight the French expertise for the sustainable city abroad.
Based on case studies of infrastructures and urban services, the tool uses a collaborative approach. Each player in the civil and urban engineering will incorporate its achievements in 6 areas:
- Green Energies
- Digital Services
- Sustainable Mobility
- Water Cycle
- Circular Economy & Waste Management
- Biodiversity & Ecosystems
Will be included in the database infrastructures and urban services with a strong social and environmental approach. This tool is heavily focused on the feedback and testimonials in concise case studies, visual and accessible to all, for a good understanding and wide dissemination.
The database will be online on November 14th. It will be launched during the Marrakesh COP22, a first opportunity to highlight the best realizations.
