Energy Services are a core instrument to achieve the ambitious national and European energy efficiency targets. Since 2006, the Berlin Energy Agency and the European Commission honour companies and projects for outstanding efforts and achievements in energy services with the European Energy Service Award (EESA).

The winners will be honoured in a high level awarding ceremony opened by Dr. Werner Hoyer, President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Chairman of the EIB Board of Directors. Keynote speaker Claude Turmes, member of the European Parliament, will underline the importance of energy services to achieve the European energy efficiency targets.
