Building The Agenda in Australia

A not-for-profit initiative has been setup in Australia to change the industry from within. Build The Agenda is based around a clear agenda - to see sustainability deeply integrated into all buildings, existing and new, residential and commercial, inside and out.

Commonly, designers and builders wait for their clients to ask for a green building or green home. Why should an irresponsible industry move it's responsibility to clients or the community? That is simply irresponsible. What is also irresponsible is passing the blame to government and saying that green integration should be mandated.  It is up to industry to make a change, up to manufacturers to only produce green, sustainable materials and products.

Build The Agenda hopes the change the industry from within so every buildings gets the full green treatment as a matter of course. www.buildtheagenda.org
