REEFLEX in Build Up's highlighted cases

This July, Build Up, the European Commission website for energy efficiency, chose to highlight the Reeflex building, a french candidate in the Green Building Solutions Awards 2015.

Every month, Build Up experts browse several case studies to highlight most interesting buildings and best practices. REEFLEX is an international student residence that combines residential living as well as hotel accommodation. This unique concept meets the housing needs for students who require a short or medium stay (a few nights or months) such as international exchange students, research students, etc.

The residence forms part of the policy of the University of Lille in environmental and energy transition and respect for the environment, politics which are embodied in the Covenant of Mayors (Think, Act, Building for environmental and energy transition University Lille) and Zero Carbon goal in the regional context of the third industrial revolution in Nord-Pas-de-Calais (TRI).

Rabot Dutilleul submitted this case study on Construction21 to enter the Green Building Solutions Awards 2015. (Read Build Up case study))

Since the beginning of the year, Build Up highlighted 3 case studies originally published on Construction21:
