Green Building Solutions Awards: International kick off on March 11 in Brussels

With the International Conference for Climate in December in Paris, the 3rd edition of the Green Building Solutions Awards powered by Construction21, promises to be exceptional. Beyond the 9 countries currently covered by thenetwork*, the competition opens to new partners around the world.

In order to inform major international networks and all green building related organizations around the world, Construction21 hosts a kick off meeting on March 11 at 5.30pm in Brussels.

Energy agencies, professional unions or associations: all types of organisations may join the initiative. Each partner will have a mini-website hosted on the international platform Construction21; each mini-website will be dedicated  to buildings and solutions published by professionals from each country, in English, French, Spanish or Italian. The partners will run a jury national experts in charge of selecting national champions who will then participate in the international phase of the competition. THey will also be provided with a communication kit with the necessary tools to inform professionals in their country at each step of the competition in French, English or Spanish.

By using Construction21 to run a competition between national professionals, each partner offers them the international audience of the network (1 million visitors expected in 2015). It is also the first step to building a free access national database of exemplary buildings.

This offer is meant for green building related organisations from allover the world, even if linguistic proximity will certainly favor the Francophonie, the English-speaking countries and Latin America, which will have a mini-website in their national language. Overall, the goal is to collect 300 case studies describing exemplary buildings and solutions from 30 different countries. All climate solutions that will illustrate climate challenges discussed at the COP21.
